to the plaza where our meteorologist is standing by with a look at your weather. front row seats there. >> it's amazing. it wasn't turned on earlier this morning when we came in. now it's in the full glory. do you get a better backdrop than this? it's absolutely gorgeous. even for the early morning people walking by and viewing the tree, it's not that cold out here. but it isn't windy either. so you're not seeing the lights rattle on the branches of the tree this morning. that could change though as we go into the next couple of days. we're dealing with really nice weather across the eastern half of the country. the only trouble spots really back across the west coast. storm after storm is going to pound california, oregon, and washington state. closer to home, albany is seeing snow right now. it's lake-effect snow coming off lake ontario stretching all the way into the birkshires of massachusetts. so we are seeing some snowfall across the northeast. it is just like a fact of nature. elsewhere, we're going to see that rain out towards california continue to move on shore. we saw a lot of airp

. normal people don't laugh at jail there. i worked there. god bless you if you worked there. i couldn't do that job for two days in a row. i can do it for an hour. an ex-felon who is an extraordinary father. i can become an ex-drunk who is an exceptional citizen. there is a transition necessary for a convicted, afflicted person the and it involves payback. i owe so i go. but i'll tell the incarcerated, hey, if life was fair, you wouldn't be in here right now. you would have parents that cared and gave you the road map to success and they stuck around. they didn't hurt you on wait. they go yeah. if life was fair, you wouldn't have been busted when your partner wasn't. yeah. they love that one a lot. and then i'll say this well, if they locked you up for everything you really did do criminally, when would you get out? they don't like that one at all. so i'm blessed to be here for a brief period of time this afternoon and i'll tell you this, the first thought wrong is my problem. i was flying out of san jose airport which i do about 200 times a year and i know everybody there. i have been fly

share buy backs? >> well, we've talked to our shareholders about that. so far, it isn't. whether that will change going forward, i don't know. so far, our shareholders seem to like the fact that we've increased the dividend 25 years in a row and that we're returning cash to them. we're doing it in a balanced way. we're doing it through dividends. we're also doing is through share purchases. we have plans to continue our strategy of increasing dividends as the pattern of earning and cash flow permit going forward. >> what's your expectation for oil prices in the year ahead? >> my predictions haven't been very good in the past, but i think we're in a period where i wouldn't be surprised to see a sideways market. we could see some ups and downs depending, of course, on events in the middle east and expectations around the condition of the economy. >> in terms of the economy, are you worried about 2013? a lot of talk about recession, particularly if we were to go off the fiscal cliff. what's your take on economic landscape in the next year? >> i think there are mixed signs out there.
